Australia's international border closure extended for another three months

Australia's international borders will remain closed until 17 June 2021, 15 months after they were first introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • The emergency period was previously scheduled to end on 17 March
  • The ongoing emergency period will also extend restrictions on cruise ships entering Australia.
