More than a hundred technology leaders, including the high-profile founder of the Tesla company, Elon Musk, have signed an open letter to the United Nations calling for a ban on the development of so-called killer robots. Experts at International Artificial Intelligence conference in Melbourne are warning this technology could wreak havoc.
