The Australian Government is urging migrants to be cautious of scam migration agents and to report agents engaging in unethical practices. Last month, Australia introduced tougher measures for migration advisers, including stronger professional standards, stricter ethical requirements and increased enforcement powers aimed at improving integrity within the sector. Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs and Multicultural Affairs Julian Hill spoke with SBS Gujarati about the government’s actions against unethical migration agents.
