Gujarat University introduces autobiography of a transgender to the syllabus

"Hu Hijaro... Hu Laxmi " is a biography of Mumbai based transgender Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi. Gujarat University has introduced this book as a part of M.Phil syllabus. Harita Mehta spoke to Laxmi about her life expereince and Mr. Gaurang Jani, Head of Sociology Department, Gujarat University about the academic aspect of this initiative .
