A public health response is underway after a male in his 30s recently returned to Australia from overseas and undertook Hotel Quarantine in South Australia. He travelled to Victoria and returned to his home on the 4th of May.

Exposure sites announced by VIC Health

Tier 1 sites (immediately isolated, get tested and quarantined for 14 days):

  • TIC Group, front office, Blackshaws Rd, Altona North, from 12.01 am to 11.59 pm on May 6
  • Curry Vault Indian Restaurant and Bar in Melbourne CBD, from 6.30pm-9.30pm on May 7
  • India Gate Spices and Groceries in High St, Epping from 5pm-6pm on May 8
  • Epping Woolworths on the corner of Cooper St and High St, from 5.40pm-6.38pm on May 8
Tier 2 sites (isolate, get tested and stay isolated until you test negative):

  • TIC Group, rear warehouse section on Blackshaws Rd, Altona North, on May 6
  • 7/11 High St and Cooper St, Epping, from 6.30pm-7pm on May 6
  • 7/11 High St and Cooper St, Epping,  from 11.10am-11.40am on May 8
