Should military deployment be approved by the parliament ?

From Germany to Lithuania, Iran to Australia, countries are putting forward satirical parody videos mocking President Trump's policies and his style. As America creates new friends and foes how far should Australian defense forces commit to missions led by United States? This has prompted Greens to reintroduce the so-called "war powers" bill, calling for any such measures to first be debated in federal parliament.
