Australians in the priority group will be offered Pfizer-BionTech COVID-19 vaccine while majority of other people in Australia are likely to receive the vaccine that is developed by Oxford-AstraZeneca but produced locally in Australia. So what are the similarities and differences in how these two vaccines have been developed and how they work ? Melbourne based Dr Bhaumik Shah explains. In his conversation with SBS Gujarati Dr Shah also addresses the ethical concerns raised by some religious groups in Australia over the use of cell lines.
