Number of tax deduction claims have been rising in certain categories over the past five years. So this year the tax office is keeping a close eye on certain work-related expenses. Tax Connect Accountant Amit Bhuta explains.


There has been a 20% rise in the number of claims for work-related expenses over the past five years, climbing to a value of $1.8 billion. So ATO is monitoring this year's tax deduction claims very closely.
