કોવિડ-19ના કારણે ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયાએ સરહદો બંધ કરતા સબક્લાસ 476 વિસા ધરાવતા જે એન્જીનિયરીંગ ગેજ્યુએટ્સ ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા બહાર ફસાઇ ગયા હતા તેમના 2 વર્ષ સુધી વિસા લંબાવવાનો સરકારે નિર્ણય કર્યો છે. કોવિડ-19 પેન્ડેમિક ઇવેન્ટ વિસા (સબક્લાસ 408) માટે પણ સરકારે મહત્વપૂર્ણ ફેરફાર કર્યા.
