Bawi Tha Par arrived in Brisbane, Australia as a refugee from Burma (Myanmar) in 2015 at the age of 14.Despite many challenges in her studies, she has been awarded two scholarships: 1) Australian Business and Community Network and 2) University of Queensland Young Achievers Program.
