A bus crashed into a bridge in Melbourne on Monday morning.
Fire Brigade, Victoria Police rushed to the spot to carry out rescue operations after 15 people were feared trapped inside the bus.
The accident happened on Montague St in South Melbourne. Quite a few passengers were hurt in this accident.
17 people have been rescued, with at least two more trapped.
The Gold Bus was transporting passengers from Ballarat when its roof smashed attempting to drive under the bridge.
The paramedics were seen treating the injured at the scene.
A Melbourne Fire Brigade spokeswoman has described the accident as a "major incident".
While the rescue operation is underway, authorities have closed Montague St in both directions.
