A police operation is underway in Wyndham Vale as police officers hunt for two alleged burglars in Melbourne’s West.
As a precaution, childcare centres and a few streets have been locked down.
Police is hunting for a man and a woman who fled the scene of a burglary earlier this morning.
Victoria Police spokesman Thomas O’Byrne told Herald Sun that police found a man and woman at a house in Brougham Ave following reports of a burglary.
“The woman has fled the scene in a car, the man fled on foot,” Mr O’Byrne said.
“Police are currently in the process of locating the persons involved.”
