Delhi-based Pranav Kotra to save an Australian team

Pranav is originally from Noida and came to Australia in 2015 to study Diploma in Marketing from Durban International College.

Pranav Kotra, the 19-year-old goalkeeper from Delhi-based Hindustan FC has became the Indian first footballer to sign a contract with a foreign club – Cove FC in Adelaide, Australia.

Cove FC, established in 1983, participates in the South Australian State League. 

Pranav is originally from Noida and came to Australia in 2015 to study Diploma in Marketing from Durban International College.

"Football Federation Australia kindly request an International Transfer certificate (ITC) with respect to following amateur player (Kotra) in accordance with the FIFA regulations," Football Federation Australia said in a letter addressed to Hindustan FC.
Pranav told Deccan Chronicle - “I think football is more of a club sport than country. But like everyone, I wish to play for India U-23 and then, senior team. At the same time, I want to play for foreign clubs too.”

Before joining the esteemed Hindustan FC, Pranav has also played with Mohun Bagan Sail Academy (Durgapur) and PIFA Sports FC (Mumbai).
