Emergency rescue underway at Flinders Street station in Melbourne

Emergency services are responding to a ‘serious accident’ at Flinders St Station in Melbourne.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman confirmed to Herald Sun that paramedics were at the scene but was unable to provide further details.

Channel 7 is reporting that a teenager is trapped under a train and a commuter tweeted that two platforms - 2 and 3 - have been closed to passengers.
