Indian cabbie Pardeep Kumar gets selected for Australia's Got Talent

All the judges joined him when he impersonated Michael Jackson.

41-year-old Indian origin Pardeep Kumar made his debut on Australian television when he participated in the new season of Channel 9’s Australia’s Got Talent.

In his first gig on the show’s first audition episode, Pardeep impersonated the legendary pop star Michael Jackson.

His performance had the audience and the judges in split, who themselves stood up and joined in.

Pardeep Kumar is a Taxi driver and drove 700 kilometers to participate in the show’s auditions. He lives in NSW’s Young town and drives his taxi in Cowra.

He originally hails from Chandigarh in India. He was merely 11 and still living in Chandigarh when he start impersonating Michael Jackson. Pardeep has been quoted in the local media saying that he and his friends use to dance on MJ’s song in childhood.

Today at 41, Michael Jackson still remains close to his heart. His performance won the hearts of the judges and audience and he has made it through the auditions.

His family in India and quite a few Indian Australians here are cheering for him.
