An Indian-origin family from Wentworth Point, New South Wales, has won a cash prize of $25,000 and a Mitsubishi car on TV Channel 10’s popular Australian game show – Family Feud.

The Mohan family participated in the episodes from April 13 to 18, 2016.

Mohan was joined by his daughters Shilpa and Preethi and son-in-law Ajay on the game show.

Family Feud is a popular Australian game show based on the American original.

The Australian show is hosted by Grant Denyer between 6.00 pm to 6.30 pm from Sunday to Friday.

The format is simple – two families of four are brought together to answer a series of questions based on most popular responses.

The winning family could win $10,000 if they score over 200 points in the final Fast Money round of 45 seconds and a car if they win five nights in a row.
Denyer, who was hosting the 500th show on 22nd April, was impressed by the Indian family and also gave a catchy catch cry of “Doing a Shilpa.”

Mohan’s family beat the the Tarallo family from Melbourne by 441 points to 120 on their 5th and final night.
