Bollywood Singer Adnan Sami hoisted the Indian tri-colour at his Mumbai resident to celebrate his Indian citizenship. He shared his joy by sharing photographs of him with the tri-colour on Twitter.
Adnan Sami made a name for himself in the Hindi Film industry and has lived in Mumbai for almost a decade. He has sung several songs for Hindi films and also sung alongwith legendary Indian Actor-cum-Singer Amitabh Bachchan.
He had applied for Indian citizenship long back but was rejected twice. He made a fresh application in March 2015 and was finally granted citizenship on 1st January 2016.
He posted some photographs on Twitter where he is seen celebrating his newly acquired Indian citizenship.
