A group of people in America, all Hindus, are supporting Donald Trump for President.
But going by the handle@USAHindus4Trump, this group (with 72 Followers on Twitter and 292 on Facebook) has started a hashtag called #HindusForTrump to explain why they support him.
In their poster Trump, the Republican presidential candidate and front-runner, can be seen sitting in a Yogi's posture on a blue and white petals of a lotus - the colours of the American flag! Not to be taken lightly, embossed on it is the symbol - 'Om'!
The political action committee (PAC) "Indian-Americans For Trump 2016" was launched on 21st January 2016 by four Indian Americans or as they put it "members of the American Hindu community".
The PAC said in a statement - “On realising that the agenda of Donald J Trump for President 2016 is focused on reviving the American economy, rightly bringing America on the world stage, defeating terrorism and establishing peace through strength; many Indian-Americans believe that he is the best hope for America and the right candidate to be the next president of the United States.”
