Queensland's health minister says the man accused of the fiery murder of a Brisbane bus driver was a mental health patient.
Cameron Dick has ordered an independent review of the mental health care given to 48-year-old Anthony O'Donohue who is accused of torching a Brisbane bus driver.
Mr Dick says an independent review, led by forensic psychiatrist Professor Paul Mullen, will report back to the government in eight weeks after a thorough assessment of the adequacy of the care O'Donohue received.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Sunday received a call from his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi where the latter expressed his concern over the brutal killing of 29-year-old Indian-origin bus driver Manmeet Alisher.
Manmeet Alisher, a prominent member of the Indian community in Australia was burnt to death on Saturday while being on duty as a bus driver in Brisbane.
A 48-year-old man identified as Anthony O'Donohue poured some flammable liquid on him right after boarding the bus.
