On Saturday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated country’s flagship program - Make in India Week – to attract economic investment and to showcase India as a manufacturing hub.
Government delegations from 49 nations including Australia and business delegations from 68 are taking part in this week-long event.
However, a massive fire broke out during a Cultural event where a number of politicians and filmstars were present.
The programme was being held at the Girgaum Chowpatty when a fire broke out on the main stage.
A performance had to be stopped to evacuate performers and guests from the venue.

"A small spark in front of the stage caused fire and it spread because of the wind," said the chief of Mumbai fire brigade.
