26-year-old Manish Pandey gave Indian cricket team fans world over a reason to smile on Saturday night when India registered its first win in Australia after losing the series. His unbeaten 104 runs at Sydney Cricket Ground ensured India's win which has now made the Indian Cricket Team no. 2 in ODI ICC Rankings.

1. His unbeaten 104 runs at the Sydney Cricket Ground is his first century in international cricket.
2. His first century also got him the coveted Man of the Match award.
3. In 2009, as a team member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (IPL Team) he scored an unbeaten 114 against Deccan Chargers. He is the first Indian to score a century in IPL.
4. Born in Nainital, Uttarakhand in 1989, he has played domestic cricket representing Karnataka and considers Rahul Dravid as his role-model.
5. He has been playing cricket since he was three-years-old and took up the game seriously when he was 9.
