A nurse on the NSW Central Coast is accused of stealing a credit card from a 77-year-old patient and going on a shopping spree.

It's alleged the nurse fraudulently used the woman's credit card earlier this year to go shopping at a Gosford mall.

A 38-year-old woman has been charged with obtaining property by deception after a complaint of theft was lodged, police said.
