Thousands of Muslims come together in Sydney to spread message of peace

The 33rd annual convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community concluded with the message of peace, unity and loyalty to Australia in western Sydney on 1st April.

According to the Media Head Of the Community Mr Aqeel  Ibraheem, there were record 32 hundred attendees from Australia and other 18 countries of the world.

The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia Imam I. H. Kauser said, “Our 33rd annual convention emphasized upon the significance of peace, unity, and loyalty to Australia. It involved discussions related to the controversies and misconceptions often associated with Islam.”

Mr Aqeel told SBS that this convention has concluded with the idea to speak up for any injustice, whether it be at home or society. He said that people need to educated about the true meaning of Islam.

High achievers in the community were awarded in the convention hoping that it would encourage people towards education, strengthening the society.
