The 26-year-old missing Indian women, Sita Supriya, has been found.

When contacted, a spokesperson for the Victoria Police confirmed that Sita has been located.

He said - “She has been located and all is well ... Sita needed some time to think over things.”

Yesterday, Victoria Police has appealed for public assistance to help locate Sita.

Victoria Police had released an image of Sita in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts.

Sita, a resident of Pascoe Vale, went missing on 12th April from the Flinders Street station in Melbourne.

Sita’s brother Suram also contacted SBS Hindi.

He thanked the Indian community – “Sita Supriya is my sister and she reached home safely ... Thank you for your concern and for your kindness.”
