WATCH THE BRILLIANT CATCH:
It was outstanding performance by the captain in the match where his pivotal century helped Australia recover from 4-92 to 324 in 50 overs.
However, it was in the second innings, when Smith took a brilliant catch of New Zealand batsman, BJ Watling.
He had hit the ball well wide of the skipper but Smith flung himself in the air to his left and took an impressive catch.
