A man with a cricket bat has smashed the front and back windows of up to 6 taxis outside Melbourne's Southern Cross station.
The taxis all lined up in a rank opposite the Savoy Hotel had their windows smashed.
George, a 70-year-old taxi driver, told 3AW he feared for his life during the attack.

"The person came and hit all cars - front, back - I thought he was going to kill us," George said.
George suspected it was a terrorist attack because of writing on the bat used in the attack.
"I was scared to death, I thought stay away from here, maybe bombs," George said.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said a 25-year-old was arrested at the scene.
The man is now in custody.
The spokeswoman said there was no indication that it was linked to a terrorist attack.
