Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced today (Sunday 26 April 2020) that it will ease some of the COVID-19 restrictions.
Queenslanders can now go for essential shopping and none essential shopping like buying clothes and shoes but Ms. Palaszczuk recommended that they should make a list and go get those items straight away not gatherings for other purposes.
People will also be allowed to drive in their community (50km) to park, go for a walk, or having a picnic but it has to be only with their families or those who stay in the same house.
Visiting parks and picnic or driving to some local areas within their communities are allowed, but Ms. Palaszczuk said that health advice and restriction guidelines must adhere.
The farther you stay away from other people the less likely risk that you will contract COVID-19 says Queensland health authorities.
Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan today announced that starting from the 27th of April 2020, 10 people will be allowed to gather either indoor or outdoor but social distancing and personal hygiene must be followed.
