So what is water restriction level 1 means for you?

So what is the restriction?

According to Sydney water, water restriction across Sydney will start today the 1st June 2019.

However, you can still water your garden before 10 am and after 4 pm but not from 10 am to 4 pm. You can use drizzle or sprinkle or drip irrigating system to water your garden but you can't use a running hose to wash your car, driveways, pavement or a house without a sprinkle nozzle fitted to the hose.

You can still use rainwater, bore water, grey water but if you want to use stream water you may need a license.

This means you can only use water for a certain time and for some certain circumstances and if you do not comply fines will be imposed by state water authorities of $220 for individual and $550 for businesses.
