Hmong Australia Festival bushfire fundraising event.

Hmong Australia Festival Inc's president Pa Cai Xiong says that, '' his organisation mission is to keep Hmong identity alive and so networking Hmong community with other Australian multicultural communities so they know more about Hmong people. So that there would be no misunderstanding and so we can live in harmony without stereotyping or discriminating each other."

Mr Xiong also adds that other communities also have the same mission. He wants Hmong community members to joint the event to acknowledge that we are Hmong so every time when someone new meet us, they know us without having to tell a long story of who we are.

Though the purpose of the Hmong Australia Festival 45 years is mainly for bushfire fundraising.

Due to the bushfire devastating situation that have tremendous impact on Australian communities and its firefighters and Australian businesses, as a part of the Australian fabric, Mr Xiong says, Hmong community as Australian has the duty and responsibility to do something to help those in need.

"When other communities experience difficulties we should land them a hand and do whatever we can to help them," say Pa Cai Xiong, President of Hmong Australia Festival Inc.

He says that apart from all mentioned above, his organisation is a stage for community members and anyone to participate as we have seen from previous events.

In this event there are local Member of Parliament and Councillor also jointed.

This event is no different to those previous ones, many communities like, Hmong, Hmong actor and herbalist,  Lao, Karen, Filipino, and Indian communities as well as Australian Kpop dance group are part also part of the event.
