If you want to work in childcare services industry you must have qualification in early childhood education and must pass police check.
Most Hmong communities in Australia whichever state do we live, we tend to rely heavily on our parents, siblings, grandparents and relatives or close family to care for our children and only small portion of us use childcare services.
Childcare is a very expensive business and parents with financial difficulties are struggling to maintain this services, however Australia government has introduced new program such as Child Care Subsidy System which replaced both the Child Care Benefit and the Child Care Rebate payments to make parenting easier, so both parents can work and contribute towards Australian economy.
Since the 2nd July 2018 Australian government has implemented the new childcare package and parents who want to transit from the old childcare system to the new system are urged to set up and register so they can use this new services.
Government currently allows a person to care up to children age two years old. But if you are qualified to do so you can chare up to 5 kids under 5 years old including your own children according to Childcareaware.#
