Australian government is coordinating with Singaporean authorities to create the coronavirus mobile phone app called Tracing Together as another measure to prevent Australian from contracting COVID-19 and ensure social distancing is followed, but it is voluntary not mandatory, tweeted Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison tweeted that 'the coronavirus mobile phone tracing app is not mandatory.' Australian authorities also make it clear that it will not be utilized as a survillence or tracking tool.
People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others and gatherings are limited to two people unless you are with your family or household.
