Why does Por Choua Thao (Zongtum Sippawat) a Hmong young man lives in Tak, northwestern of Thailand stop short of pursuing electrical engineer career but to continue collecting insects for research centers and ecotourism?
Mr. Thao said that he has loved and passion for insects since his childhood in his hometown but never have a chance to do what he loves which is getting to see, to know more about local fauna in his local area, let alone studying. However after he has graduated his electrical engineering, he has realized that bush working and collecting fauna species for research centers is his real passion, and finally decided to do what he loves instead of an electrical engineering career.

Mr. Por Choua Thao said he wants everyone to follow their dreams and do the jobs that they love no matter what they are doing or studying.
"Getting to do what I love which is collecting fauna species, living with and seeing my parents at my hometown and getting paid equivalent to electrical engineering as well as having more time for myself make me so happy," said Mr. Zongtum Sippawat.
Mr. Por Choua Thao said that he does not recommend anyone to handle fauna species in their local areas as it is very dangerous business if we don't know how to protect ourselves and don't know which type of animals are poisonous.
However, he would like to say to country residents or city dwellers that we should study and get to know more about a certain type of local wild animals and insects that could do us harm because out of hundreds of species there are only up to a dozen of them are actually poisonous and potentially be fatal. If we spend a minute a day to study their behavior and their characteristics, we can differentiate which species are harmless and which are deadly, in turn, our safety safeguards.
Previously Thai Echo program has also done a documentary about his life i.e, how he lives, and what he does for a living. After that program another Thai program called "Super 100%" has also invited him to share his story about his fauna passion where he showed some of his insects and show the audiences how to handle them and how to determine if they are harmless or they are poisonous which he has earned himself a good camera and 40 acrylic plastic containers which will be future homes for his insects collection.
He said that he would like to do a course about the full life cycle of fauna in Thailand and write a book for each species as well as do some short film documentary and write a book about these animals as well as do a short clip for his YouTube channel alongside with his Facebook page.
