This year it is the first time that there is a women team play representing Australia in 32th King Cup 2017 in Bangkok Thailand.
Australia start its campaign in Bangkok Thailand from the 11th December 2017 buy loosing to Chinese Taipei women double 21-8 and 21-11.
However, Jenny Ly from Cairns said that she is very excited to have such opportunity to play representing Australia.

"The score from the second set which we have got 11 out of 21 is a factor to encouraging us to train harder and play better and inspire us to come back again better next year. This competition has shown us that we women can play takraw like men do and it is to encourage us Australia Hmong women that it is a fun sport and if we train hard we could be as good as anybody. So if you want to join us next year please do come." Jenny said.
For Regu and double categories, Australia has played against many countries.
Australia first win in group stage in Regu is hosting Nepal with 21-8 and 21-11. Australia also won especially Regu quarter final aginst Switzerland and won 2-0, and won men double against France 2-0 but sadly Australia has lost to India, the stronger opponent in Semi final. Australia men 3 team also defeat Sri Lanka in men's team 3-0 and next macht today (Friday) 15th Dec 2017 Australia will play against Chinese Taipei men's team.

"Though Australia men lost in Regu against Iran Australia has won a bronze medal" Nee Lee said.
