New research showed our hair can either make or break our health and our mental health well being. New research showed over 48% of Australians said hair is very important when we find partners. 45% of women will be devastated if they lost their hair and 45% said their hair either helps boost their confidence or lose their confidence, said Dr. Dominic Burg, Chief Scientist and Project Manager at Evolis.
He said that there are many factors that can cause hair loss for instance age, diet, stress, medication or genetic issues.
It is because the hair cycle has been disrupted therefore hair tends to grow thinner and having a shorter life span. However, we can help by consuming nutritious food, exercise and seek medical treatments. But there is new research called "Evolis" which is a botanical extract to regrow hair that scientifically proved said, Dr. Burg.
He said that while there are some medication like Minoxidil and Propecia available from a hair salon and buying over the counter from a pharmacy, Minoxidil is a medication for treat high blood pressure and it is not suitable for the general public while Propecia is a hair loss treatment for only men not for women.
However, Dr. Burg emphasizes that the research showed hair loss can have profound effects on our health and well-being but we have a solution to handle it.
