Miss Lee's advice to anyone who wants to get into a gymnastic competition that "I would say that If you really want to do it then you should try it and put your all into it and never give up, and you can do anything that you put your mind into it."
Sunisa beam training session:
John Lee, Miss Sunisa Lee's father said that it is a very demanding job due to the frequent travel due to the nature of this sport. So the hardest thing is managing time and financial difficulties.
"It's all about her and her determination, she doesn't have a lot of friends, after classes she has to attend gymnastic training. As her parents, if she is into this then she shall get all my supports."
Mr. Lee said that though there are funds for this type of sport but Sunisa cannot apply due to its contradiction with the scholarship that she's got. But it is lucky that there are a lot of Hmong communities and Hmong businesses in Minnesota throw their supports when he did fundraising for his daughter.
Mr. John Lee wants to say to anybody that "if your children are good at any type of sports or education, we should fully support them so they can fulfil their potential. My generation may not have that chance but I would like to encourage any parents to fully support their children if they are good at something."
