You can watch NERVE Dance Crew Performance 1 (ACE - Undercover/Savage) at Hmong Australia Festival Australian Bushfire Fundraiser 07.03.2020 by Hmong Australia Festival Inc secretary Austin Virathone here:
What is more, Since the Korean Pop music is so popular through out the world, Australian young are no acception. Though not a lot of people know different dance performance groups that are propping up across Australia, and SBS POP Asia is part of this event that keep Australian young people entertained, happy and healthy.
Rome says, 'all of us are from Victoria. We are from southeast and West Melbourne, and meet up in city, Melbourne CBD to share our love of K-POP culture and spend time together."
What is so amazing about this group is that their members have different background from various community in Melbourne ranging from Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese, half Scottish, German/Italian joining as a group, which fits perfectly with the salad bowl or multicultural society in Australia.
Lucus who is half German and half Italian says that "being someone who is outside the community, not like an Asian, it is quite interesting to see how it can bring everyone together such community as a whole just accepting everyone. They aren't like gatekeeper of some sort like who can join the community and enjoy the dancing in general. It is really an amazing community and I like being someone really happy to be able to part of the community some time it is not traditional, it is quite confronting but also like really educational, like being able to learn about different culture and experiencing different things from different culture is like really amazing thing to be privilege to have this experience."
