Council member Dai Thao told SBS Radio Hmong Program that he felt very strongly that he could be the next St Paul Minnesota mayor despite he is just a newcomer who goes against the powerful well established political opponents.
"I believed that due to the overwhelming supports from American diverse communities in Minnesota towards my track records and my overarching strategic policies about social equality for all, that every one is being treated with respects and have equal opportunity to thrive not just the haves which are social cohesion, safety, security, education, healthcare, disability services, employments and development projects for my state will land me St Paul Mayor role." Said Dai Thao.

"When it comes to tax cuts for corporate in the hope that it will lead to economic prosperity and then employments, it does not work. Wisconsin which is a state next to Minnesota is a living proof that Republican's ideology is a fail." Said Council member Dai Thao.
Mr.Thao said that anybody can make any fairy tale promises but his campaign is rather focused on the key indicators or equity outcomes of his implemented policies where everyone is benefited not just those few end of town. American communities should receive their fair share of state budgets for their community development projects in Minnesota to better their lives, their health and well-being if he is to be elected as St Paul Minnesota mayor.
Mr. Dai Thao asserted that Rome wasn't built in a day, but if he can create a cohesive society, gain faith, cooperation, collaboration from different parties and his constituents, state resources will be equally distributed and everyone is to benefit, anything is possible.
"Those who has experienced hardship and walked different walks of lives know how to treat others better. We are not here as economic migrants or to be the burden toward this country, but to better the lives of Americans and we are here to make America a greater nation." Said council member Dai Thao.

"Even though we have been oppressed, tortured, looked down upon, reverenced and our graveyards have been desecrated, we have a proud history, a civilized kingdom of Chiyou, we are persevered. God loves us and allows us to prosper, therefore we should not be scared to show who we really are or what our capability are and our culture is and to share our love toward those who are less fortunate than us or disadvantaged like us. We should not lets these bitter past bogging us down but rather see them as a driving force to lift us up to a brighter future." That is the message Dai Thao wants to sent to Hmong youth who want to consider a politics a career.
At this point of time when Hmong New Year celebration is approaching in or have already held, Dai Thao would like to wish everyone with wealth, health, and happiness and all the wishes to come true.
