Hungary has slammed what it called failed migration policies, telling the United Nations uncontrolled mass migration has created a threat to Europe.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced a referendum for October the 2nd on whether to accept any future EU-wide quotas. It comes after Hungary's refusal to take in refugees or migrants under an European Union burden-sharing plan. Abby Dinham and Kata Kiss report, with the help of Inforadio.
