What is Waisak Day?
Waisak Day is a day to commemorate the birth, enlightenment, and death of Gautama Buddha.
It is a public holiday in Indonesia and falls on the full moon in the lunar month of Vaisakha.
On Waisak Day, Buddhists use this opportunity to honor and reflect on the sublime values of Tiratana: Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.
