They are the first to respond when things go wrong, but paramedics in Victoria are also on the front line of unpredictable and sometimes violent incidents.A new trial is aimed at improving their safety by providing mobile cameras to capture their most dangerous call-outs.

Now a Victorian-first trial will give paramedics something extra in their kit.

Victorian health minister Jill Hennessy says, similar to the police force, paramedics will now have mobile cameras that enable them to capture any dangerous encounters.
