In Australia, Anzac Day is a national day in memory of fallen soldiers.

Every year on 25 April, Australia commemorates Australians and New Zealanders who were meritorious and killed in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

Victoria Winoto, a student at Melbourne University and Nanda Yudha Ikhwan Prananda from Monash University, were both born in Indonesia.

They explained to SBS Indonesian their understanding of the importance of Anzac Day and what it means for the younger generation.
