According to the Victorian Trugo Association Inc., this unique local sport of Melbourne is played in the suburbs of Ascot Vale, Brunswick, Footscray, Port Melbourne, Sandridge, South Melbourne and at the home of Trugo, Yarraville. What is the history behind this Trugo game?
Dr Paul Thomas, a writer of Talking North, a translator and an associate of Monash University is currently researching on the history of Trugo in Victoria. He explains to Sri Dean a .little bit about the history, how the game is played and the equipment they use.
