The Indonesian government through the Ministry of BUMN has appointed Claus Wamafma, a native of Papua, as Director at PT Freeport Indonesia. What was the reaction of the local community?

The director of PT Freeport Indonesia, Claus Wamafma, was the first Papuan to sit in this high position since PT Freeport Indonesia operated in Papua in 1967.
