Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca is reportedly withdrawing its artificial COVID-19 vaccine worldwide.

On April 30, AstraZeneca admitted that the vaccine, sold under the name Vaxzevria, can cause fatal blood clots and low platelet counts, also known as thrombosis syndrome with thrombocytopenia, or TTS.

Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca's vaccine was discontinued by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Authority (TGA) in April 2023.

This comes after it was discovered a link between the vaccine and rare but serious side effects.

Now, AstraZeneca's COVID vaccine has been withdrawn globally after acknowledging the adverse side effects.
