Australia is no longer the study destination of choice for international students, according to research conducted by the international student organisation, I-D-P.
The report is based on a survey of more than 11,500 prospective international students and current international students from 117 countries.

The main factors influencing student choice include quality of education, job prospects, and value for money.
Changes to visa policy, in particular the tightening of student visas by the Albanese government to regulate the job market, have also had an impact on student decisions.
