The Prime Minister has reinforced his position that Australia cannot become a republic until after the Queen's reign.Malcolm Turnbull, who was the former chair of the Australian Republican Movement (ARM) made the comment during an address to the organisation's 25th anniversary dinner.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull reaffirmed his support to move Australia from a constitutional monarchy to a republic, saying Australia's head of state should be one of us.
But he warned the time would not be right until after Queen Elizabeth's reign.
