The government has reached an agreement with the Greens to pass the final piece of vaping legislation through the Senate.

The law removed the requirement for adults to obtain a prescription to access such devices - but banned sales outside pharmacies, with strict taste restrictions and plain packaging requirements.

The first wave of these changes went into effect on July 1 - banning all vape sales outside pharmacies, and limiting the flavors available to plain, mint, and menthol flavors.
