Australia has signed its largest trade deal, an agreement eight years in the making, involving 14 other Asia-Pacific countries. Australian businesses, universities and healthcare providers are set to benefit from the agreement known as RCEP.


In April this year, China's ambassador announced a consumer boycott against Australian goods. That was followed by China imposing tariffs on Australian goods including barley and disruptions in agricultural and resource exports. Can RCEP help the Federal Government to improve Australia’s relations with China?
