Call for Australians to come together to respond to coronavirus

Even as an economic stimulus package is rolled out to protect Australia's economy, the focus of the response is now turning to reviewing mass gatherings.


The issue has been front and centre at a meeting between federal, state and territory leaders.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has issued a rallying cry for Australians to come together to respond to the coronavirus, warning of challenging months ahead.

In a live televised address to the nation [[Thu evening]], Mr Morrison says Australians should be reassured by the government's  17.6 billion dollar stimulus package.
