During the COVID-19 pandemic many activities were diverted via online. Likewise with mass in church, switch to online mass.

Apparently for some people, especially the elderly, the inability to attend mass online continues for various reasons.
As for example when they are less healthy, or to attend morning mass, online mass is very beneficial.

Dr. Valentina Yunita Dyah Utari, a researcher affiliated with SMERU Research Institute recently conducted an ethnographic study or independent research in Malang related to online mass for the elderly.

Dr Utari explained to SBS Indonesia the benefits and drawbacks of this online mass and also how the Catholic church responds especially to online mass.
